What is Hōkime?
Hōkime is a personal financial planning application that helps you organise accounts, record financial activity and understand how your money may change over time.
How do you pronounce Hōkime?
Hōkime is pronounced “hoh-kee-meh”.
The name is inspired by the Japanese word Hōkime (箒目), meaning the precise, linear and wave-like calming patterns raked into gravel or sand in traditional Japanese gardens. It reflects Hōkime’s purpose: bringing scattered financial information into a clear, organised plan.
Does the free trial require a payment card?
No. You can use the complete 30-day Hōkime trial without providing payment details.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. You can choose to continue your subscription by adding a credit or debit card once your free trial comes to an end.
Do I have to install a desktop or mobile app?
No. You can use Hōkime through any supported application for your device.
Hōkime also has an installable web app, known as a PWA, for people who would rather use it through a supported browser.
